Turning Improv Into Sketch

FREE LECTURE: From the Second City to UCB- improv has been a wellspring for some of the best sketch comedy ever. WGIS sketch teacher Nate Smith is offering this free lecture on how to take your improvised scenes and turn them into sketch scripts. Learn the fundamentals of how to take that scene you just made up and write it up into a scene you can film, perform on stage or use as a writing sample. Learn how to think like a writer- how to identify and heighten game on the page. You may find your game play as an improviser gets even stronger and in turn, writing gets easier and easier!
