Class Description:
Let's get your ideas on paper. Learn to write comedy sketches. No experience required, though even people with some experience will learn a lot in this short, affordable session.
In this 5 week class you will be given structured assignments and feedback in a supportive environment.
Jesse Esparaza is a top sketch writer / performer / director from the UCB Theatre (as well as a TV writer for Mixedish on ABC and Maggie on Hulu).

About Jesse Esparza: Jesse is a writer and performer from Sacramento whose TV credits include Mixedish on ABC and Maggie on Hulu. Jesse has performed improv and sketch comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater since 2009. He wrote and directed “Tonya Harding The Musical” which ran for 2 years to sold out audiences. In addition to UCB, he wrote for the CBS Diversity Showcase, and was accepted to the NHMC Writers Program and the Disney Writers Program. He also co-wrote and starred (with Dan Lahey) the sketch show "Two Loud Gays" which he allowed Will Hines to direct.
